I’m no Gordon Ramsay but I like his shows and his cooking techniques. So I borrowed a little from Hell’s Kitchen techniques on this one, but I arranged the ingredients here on my own. It’s super simple and probably not quite up to Ramsay’s standards. However, my daughter in law and I both thought it was pretty good.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 pork chops an inch thick
- 1 large onion sliced
- 8oz Mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 table spoon of butter
- 1/3 cup of white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 TBSP Olive oil
DIRECTIONS
- Season your pork with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil over medium high heat in an oven proof skillet. Preheat your oven to 400
- Sear Pork chops about 3 minutes per side. Take the chops out and place them aside.
- In the same skillet cook onions, mushrooms, and garlic with butter for 2 minutes then add wine. Cook until onions are just before translucent (about 3 minutes).
- Replace pork chops in pan and cover in the onions and mushrooms, place in Oven.
- Cook 15 minutes or until pork reaches right temperature (160 degrees)
NOTES: Great Recipe.
